{TdC} , or "Total Domination Clan", is a gaming clan whose main game is Halo Custom Edition. {TdC} was founded in 2006 by {TdC}$nipeX.

[edit] The Early Times

According to $nipeX himself, he started {TdC} originally with the intent of getting five members, if he was lucky. The clan surpassed $nipeX's expectations by far. During this time the clan flourished and had many active members that were highly skilled in Halo CE.

The clan was doing very well for a year or so, and then {TdC}Night joined the clan. About a month after Night's acceptance into the clan, {TdC}Flame joined the clan.

A few months had passed since the acceptance of Night and Flame. The clan was extremely active and expanding rapidly. In order to deal with the increasing number of members in the clan, $nipeX held an election of sorts to select an additional leader of the clan. Night won by just a little over {TdC}Hodgy and began to lead alongside $nipeX.

Not long after Night became a co-leader of the clan, $nipeX suddenly announced that he was going to be leaving the clan. He closed down the entire clan's website and left a sentimental goodbye message:

"When I first made the clan I was hoping to get maybe 5 members, but thanks to you guys I got many more. I am officially going to close down the site but if anyone would like to create a new one, you may do so. I have picked {TdC}Night as the new leader because of his dedication and skills.Thanks for the great Halo memories." -{TdC}$nipeX

Due to $nipeX's resignation, many members assumed that the clan was being disbanded and became inactive, left Halo CE for other games, such as Halo 3, or left the clan for reasons unknown. An overwhelming number of members had left, leaving Night with the task of almost completely rebuilding the clan.

[edit] The New {TdC}

$nipeX's untimely resignation had left Night with a huge task; restoring the clan to its former glory. Night's first order of business was creating a new website for the clan, which he did. However, the website was still hosted on Freewebs, which severely limited its potential. He soon asked Flame for help with the site. Flame then designed a new website and hosted it on 110mb. The site was soon moved to a server hosted by »H« Sandino. The site was then made into a combination of their wiki and their forums.

The biggest challenge so far has been trying to recruit more members. All of {TdC} have been trying to recruit more members to restore the clan's former fame and to help it regain its reputation. Although new members have been recruited, and some old members have returned, keeping the members active has been a big issue.
